(Bangkok) My husband is on his 1-year Non-B visa extension. His latest arrival into Thailand was August 8, 2023 after which the extensions were processed. The TM.47 slip on his passport says he's due to report March 4, 2024. We tried to register his first ever 90-day online report but it got rejected with the message to just contact local immigration. (Oh well, worth a try.) I read that it can also be done by an authorized person. Do we just write a standard authorization letter?
Many thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the process for her husband to submit his first mandatory 90-day report for his Non-B visa. They attempted to register the report online, but it was rejected with instructions to contact local immigration. There's a discussion about whether a standard authorization letter is needed if someone else submits the report on his behalf, with comments suggesting that previous submissions didn't require formal authorization but needed the necessary documents to be signed by the passport holder.

Last time someone submitted a 90 day report for me it didn't require any authorization letter. Just my passport and all the documents signed already by me.
