What was the experience of re-entering Thailand on an O A visa at Don Mueang Airport?

Arrived back to Don Mueang from Manila last night on the O A visa, they did not ask for proof of insurance, but only stamped me in for 30 days, the young officer then called her head of dept over, the stamp was then corrected and a polite smile and apology was given from the immigration officer.

actually they don't and as you saw the O/P pointed out the mistake and their stamp was corrected on the spot. ;)

IF you face an immigration officer that is making up rules on the fly and you know it to be false, be firm, stand your ground and question them about it.
