How can I obtain a valid email address for the Police Clearance Centre in Chiang Mai, Thailand?

Question

Hello 🙂 back in April, I did the Police Clearance process in the Forensics Centre in Chiang Mai, with a letter from my school.

The Teaching Council in Ireland has rejected the document on the basis that they believe it it a third party agency that completed the process, and that the document was not processed in the Special Bureau in Bangkok. It doesn’t look like the attached image, it is just the document with the fingerprints stamped and signed saying that I have no criminal offences.

I’ve been trying to contact the police clearance centre to verify the validity, but their email does not exist and keeps bouncing back as invalid. The number provided also can’t be contacted outside Thailand.

Can anyone advise or provide a valid email for the police clearance centre?

Thanks!

The user has encountered issues with their police clearance document issued in Chiang Mai, which the Irish Teaching Council has rejected, claiming it wasn't properly processed. They are seeking advice on verifying the validity of this document, but face communication difficulties with the police clearance center. Comments suggest contacting a specific police division in Bangkok for the clearance and recommend additional steps, such as certification by immigration and the Irish Embassy.

You need to go to Special Police Division in Bangkok to do Clearance. Then get it certified by immigration office on Chaengwattana. Next go to Ireland Embassy in Bangkok and get that stamped/ certified. Lot of steps but it's the only sure way to prove authentic documentation because Khao San Rd does nice looking fakes of all certificates so Ireland won't accept if not stamped by Ireland official in Thailand.

I can't help with your question but can confirm that I also received a 2-page doc with fingerprints, in Thai, as a result of the clearance. I applied for a local school so it works out fine for me.
