Criminal Record Certificates

I need to get a criminal record certificate to prove I have no criminal history in Thailand for a European Visa. I know there’s a station in Bangkok that provides these but I’ve heard there is also one in Chiang Mai. After a search it seems like the Police Forensic Center in Chiang Mai provides them but only for Thailand use? Does anybody know if this is correct or have done one recently themselves? If I have to travel to Bangkok for an international use certificate I can but Chiang Mai is a lot closer for me

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking a criminal record certificate in Thailand to confirm their clean criminal history for a European visa application. They are aware of a police station in Bangkok that issues these certificates but are exploring the availability and validity of such certificates from the Police Forensic Center in Chiang Mai, specifically regarding whether they can be used for international purposes. Comments indicate that only the Bangkok police headquarters provides certificates for international use, and suggest utilizing an agent if travel to Bangkok is not feasible.

When applying for the Schengen Visa there are mandatory questions about criminal convictions. This should suffice

Only the police headquarters in Bangkok does this. You can use an agent if you don't want to travel to Bangkok, but I wouldn't even begin to know how to find one.
