On my way to the LOS with my Soft Power DTV on a single ticket! Emirates wanted to see the Visa as it was a single ticket and surprised that it’s a 5 year expiry date! For info the sport I used to get the Visa is not on any list but I am going to be training in Thailand for months at a time. I needed a letter from the general manager of the sports club … and a copy of his passport along with my sporting CV. Granted in London in 5 days. It was a £300 gamble but I emailed the embassy first to ask if it was acceptable and they said apply. Very happy!

One could argue that it actually has nothing to do with anonymous posting being enabled.

The participant has shared they were granted the visa in London, and that they're on their way to Thailand, likely sharing a brief story during their check-in with Emirates.
