TLDR : Answer Summary
To maximize your stay on a METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa) valid until April 3rd, enter Thailand on or just before April 3rd. Each entry grants you 60 days. You can then exit and re-enter to gain additional 60-day stays. This process can be repeated until the visa expiration, and you can also extend the last stay by 30 days at the immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht, potentially extending your stay to nearly nine months.

enter on the visa, get 60 days

when that is running out, exit/re-enter get a new 60 days

when that is running out, exit/re-enter get a new 60 days

when the VISA is going to expire, exit/re-enter get a new 60 days

(taking you to almost 8 months)

extend the last entry by 30 days at the immigration office for 1900baht (taking you to almost 9 months)

Tod Daniels or enter for 60, extend by 30. Exit

Enter for 60, extend by 30. Exit

And return on final day for 60+30.

On each entry you get 60 days of stay, if you enter just before or even on the last day, I guess 02 April 2020 as valid until date on the visa

Make your last entry on the April 2nd or 3rd date.
