How can I extend my 90-day visa to a retirement visa in Thailand, and what is the process at the Nakhon Pathom immigration office like?

I know Nakhon Pathom. It varies A LOT! Last time I did 90 day report it was done in 10 minutes. The time before almost 1 1\2 hour. My first permission to stay took 4 hours. The second almost 6!

The layout is one largish room with a long desk across the width of it providing workstations for 4-5 immigration officers. They all seem very polite , professional and helpful but obviously when the queues are longer, or people are being a$$holes, tempers are shorter😀. Avoid Mondays and first days after holiday.
