TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking assistance to extend their 30-day visa stamp while in Bangkok. They have received feedback that it's possible to extend the visa by themselves by filling out forms TM.7 and STM.2, along with providing a passport photo and required photocopies. Additionally, they can also opt for assistance from services like Friendly Thai Visa Services. They are specifically looking for guidance on meeting someone to begin the process.
Just go to Laksi IT Square and pick up the TM.7, STM.2 and acknowledgement of fines forms and fill them in, stick a passport photo of yourself to the TM.7 and put a phone number at the bottom, get a photocopy of your passport bio page and your entry stamp and give it to the immigration officer at desk 1. If you're staying in a hotel make sure you bring a copy of your TM.30 receipt, if you're staying in a condo you don't need a copy but make sure it has been filed.
also, you really shouldn't follow sketchy links like that from random people on the internet. π
If you Google "Bangkok immigration," the bangkok.immigration.co.th site should have a link to "book online" in the menu on the upper right of the website.
also, if you arrive at 8am and go straight up to immigration, you're done and out by 9 at the latest 9.15.

I didn't need a TM.30 copy the last 2 times I've gotten an extension at Laksi.
Also, book an appointment online! I think I was there waiting for about 4 hours for my last extension, I think an appointment would have made it 30-60 minutes.
took a friend there three weeks ago. Last time I was there and this time I noticed some people were being asked for a TM.30 receipt and others weren't, so I decided to ask why some were, and some weren't; the immigration officer stated that if someone is staying in a hotel, they ask for the receipt because, over the last year, there have been too many incidents where a TM.30 hasn't been filed.
