TLDR : Answer Summary
There is no specific martial arts visa available in Thailand. However, individuals interested in training at a recognized martial arts school can apply for a Single Entry Non-Immigrant ED Visa. To do so, one must obtain the necessary documentation from the school that is approved by the Ministry of Education, which will support their visa application at a Thai Embassy or Consulate. This visa allows for a 90-day stay, after which one can apply for an Extension of Stay with the help of the school.

How about saying where you are in thailand so people can tell you if there's an approved school in your area that can offer ED visa support?

Use the group search function - "muay Thai" etc and quite a few posts will turn up; including :

Even the self defense Visa in Chang Mai does not exist.

There is no martial arts visa. But you can visit the school and if they are recognized by the Ministry of Education they can give you all the papers you need to visit a Thai Embassy or Consulate and apply for the Single Entry Non Immigrant ED Visa. You get 90 days of stay and before the last date you visit with papers from the school the Immigration Office to apply for Extension of Stay.
