Is 1 month Muay Thai registration enough to be qualified for the DTV? Or how long?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus in the comments suggests that while some individuals have successfully obtained a DTV visa after just one month of Muay Thai training at reputable gyms, many recommend a duration of 3 to 6 months for a higher chance of approval, as it varies depending on the embassy. Additionally, the quality and reputation of the gym can significantly influence the application outcome.
some will allow but some embassys will say if just one month you only need a tourist visa so be careful. best to get 6 months to match the 180 day stamp. We used to do muay thai visas and did a 1 day a week plan for 6 months. affordable and flexible. after you got the visa can do the 26 classes whenever you want.
If people have funds to live in Thailand without having a job, they can buy a more expensive visa, if people have a job outside Thailand geving them enough funds, then they don't need the soft power option of DTV.
I wonder where people opting for a very cheap soft power get their funds from...
Good points. The problem may arise in the future as they did with Ed Visa. Immigration might want to see proof of actual improvement and learning or even ongoing enrollment.
We will have to wait and see but I can see it happening. They control entry points too. Border bounce prices have gone up as it is 60 days now. They do like to make up for loss of earnings.
Well the DTV as we know is MFA. Entry and extensions are Royal Thai Police Immigration. They are 2 different entities and in Thailand different departments run like their own feudal fiefdoms. The only place I have witnessed joined up working is the BOI.
