Has anyone had their Visa approved by the embassy in Hanoi over the weekend?
I know processing does occur over the weekend even though the embassy is not open to the public. Just wondering if there’s been any success stories of Approvals being granted over the weekend?
Currently pending approval and must extend my hotel stay. Not stressful at all 😅

I applied for mine on the 29 (in Hanoi too) it changes to pending approval on the 5th and still waiting now…

In the same situation here. Submitted on Wednesday as the Embassy was closed this Monday/Tuesday. However, I booked an accommodation until the end of next week, just to be safe. Hope I'd get it someday next week...

I applied on 27 May. Got approved on 04 June. I don't think they process applications over the weekend. I have done non-b visas in the past in hanoi & HCMC, both in-person (before the system change) & online.

They could be wrong but the people who told me I know pretty well and trust that they wouldn’t lie about something like that.

Im still waiting on my application is showing pending approval. I submitted it on Monday and Tuesday was a holiday. Still i sent them a courtesy message to see if by a miracle it would be approved today. My hotel is until sunday but at this point i think i will likely have to extend everything until wednesday or even Friday. The holiday push everything for everyone still i think Hanoi has the best expedited process . Let me know the date you applied so i can compare it with mine. Lets hope we can both celebrate this weekend and approval is granted

I was told by the embassy (because I went there in person to ask a question at the counter because they weren’t answering my calls or emails) that both Monday and Tuesday they were closed for the Queen’s birthday. Ok so both pending approval. Hope we both get good news soon. 🤞Thanks for your answer. 🙏

Anonymous participant ohh ok did not know they were also closed on Monday. Got an email yesterday to resubmit my picture as it was a little blurry NO OTHER DOCUMENTS WERE REQUESTED. I fixed it and sent it right away. An hour later my application went into pending approval . From what I hear we both passed the initial document check. Now we just have to wait for the adjudication officer ( Senior official for his approval) that has the authority to issue the visa. Not all consular officers have this clearance i just hope our guy did not go on break this week for the holidays. At this embassy is 2-3 days depending on the load of applications they have. If you dont mind me asking What email did you use to contact them? . I sent this 2 this afternoon
I dont think i will get a response but again it does not hurt to ask maybe they feel bad for the extra costs in hotels tickets etc and issue it today.

funny I got a similar request yesterday as well and submitted the requested document straight away too. Was hoping for approval today but alas must keep on waiting. 🤞The first email I have been trying to reach staff through but they told me at the counter no communication through email. I also mentioned hotel and flight but they do not care about our costs. They just told me we have to wait for the electronic verdict.
