Good Morning

My husband lost his passport and he already get a new one last week.

- Does he need to do another TM 30? (we already done that online, just curious if he need to do that again because in the system he need to be in the place that we stay at least 24 hours.)

- should he edit his profile as well? because we register TM 30 online by ourself

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired whether their husband needs to file a new TM 30 after losing his passport, even though they had registered online previously. One commenter suggested that it wouldn't hurt to file another TM 30 online since it can be done personally, but it's likely not necessary. They noted that the immigration office would see the previous TM 30 submission when the husband goes to get his extension stamps in the new passport. They also recommended bringing the police report and any documents from the embassy regarding the passport replacement.

I would say there's no harm in filing another TM30 online (seeing as you can do it yourself) but it's most likely not needed. He'll have to go to the immigration office and get the extension stamps inked into his passport and they will see that he already filed a TM30 before on the old passport.

Make sure you take the police report and any documents you got from his embassy about getting a new passport to the immigration office when you go to get the stamps put in

if he has the photos from original visa/extension in old passport, print them out and bring with his other official documents. They could make the process easier (maybe more for IO though)
