When documentation or visa states days, it’s obviously calendar days, but when month is used does it mean a 28 day month or a calendar month?

Thank you 😊

TLDR : Answer Summary
The term 'months' in Thai visa documentation refers to calendar months, meaning the duration is measured from date to date. For example, a 'two-month seasoning' would span from July 1 to September 1, regardless of the varying lengths of the months involved. However, there is an exception concerning February, where one should account for additional days as it only has 28 days. There are instances where immigration officials may dispute the duration based purely on the number of days in a month.

if it says months on 'seasoning' it's calendar months 'date to date'

Example; two months "seasoning" from July 1 would be to Sept 1 (even though that is actually 62 days because Jul/Aug have 31 days each)

The only exception I've seen to that is if one of the months is Feb (when you should add just a couple days to make sure :P )

I had immigrations send someone away because in their opinion it hadn't been 2 months seasoning as Feb only had 28 days :O
