Hi everybody. My husband (who is a Turkish citizen and currently in Turkey) is going to apply for a single-entry tourist visa to Thailand this week. The website of the Embassy in Turkey says that he needs to show a return ticket, but the website in Thailand says the return ticket is only necessary for a multiple-entry tourist visa. Can you please share your knowledge on this issue with us?

TLDR : Answer Summary
There is confusion about the return ticket requirement for a single-entry tourist visa to Thailand for Turkish citizens. The Turkish Embassy states a return ticket is necessary, while Thai official guidelines mention it only applies to multiple-entry tourist visas. Seeking clarification on this inconsistency from others with experience or reliable sources.
