TLDR : Answer Summary
After receiving a 60-day Covid visa extension, your friend will indeed need to comply with the 90-day reporting requirement as indicated on the visa stamp. This reporting must be done at the appropriate immigration office, which in his case implies a visit to the Bangkok Immigration office.

Thanks. He did Covid visa extension at CW so does he require to go to MTT to do 90 days reporting?

can you let us know how he goes on at MTT. The IO's at CW repeatedly say it's not needed, but apparently, it is.

they have stamped that 90 days must be done and it is a 60 tourist visa + 60 days Covid extension

NEVER EVER trust an immigration office who doesn't work in the specific section you need (in this case Counter A for 90 day reports) to give you accurate information. GO and ask an officer at the correct section

yes, which is why, it will be really good to get the info from MTT confirmed.

So that's where he goes

I would say yes, he would have to do 90 day reports, because he used Bangkok Immigration office
