I’m arriving in Thailand with a Non-Immigrant O visa (90 days), and I have a quick question:
Will I be required to show an onward/exit ticket when entering Thailand.
I’m planning to apply for a 1-year extension while staying in Thailand, so I don’t currently have a return ticket.
Would appreciate any recent experiences or advice. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Most recent experiences suggest that travelers entering Thailand with a Non-Immigrant O visa are typically not required to show proof of onward travel. While some airlines may ask for it, especially during check-in, it is generally advisable to argue your case that it's not needed with a valid visa. Having flexibility in travel plans, like a bus ticket ready, can also ease concerns, though it often turns out to be unnecessary.
There were some reports that the airlines which fly from UK thru the middle east (dunno the names sorry) were asking for proof of onward travel when people were checking in with valid 90 day Non-O visas :O
You just have to hammer them and say that it's not required (as it is indeed NOT required if you hold a valid visa to thailand)
The Non-O is a long term visa so there is no requirement for proof of onward travel. If your airline check in asks for one just ask to spreak with the flight supervisor.
