TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for proof of a flight and accommodation when applying for a Thai visa varies by embassy and individual circumstances. While some embassies, such as those in Dubai, may require round-trip tickets and accommodation bookings, others may not ask for these documents at all. Experiences from applicants indicate that many were not asked for flight or accommodation proof, with some only needing to specify their expected date of arrival and where they would be staying. It is advisable to check the specific requirements of the embassy where you are applying.
No, application ask for expected date of arrival, flight number and address where you're going to stay. I looked on Skyscanner for a flight I might take and entered the flight number(not pnr or booking id) and gave address of a hotel in Patong where I usually stay(no booking). My DTV was approved in 5 days.

I was looking at the evisa application system and it seems mandatory to upload flight and hotel details. If you have not gotten these can I just screens shot a dummy airline booking?

I applied in laos (Vientiane).soft power and said I will cross at land border (chiang khong).Nothing else was asked for. Had an interview but all straight forward. This is what I was worried about because I was cycle touring the same time but it wasn't an issue.
they didn't really ask a lot. I had previously had an Ed visa and he just asked me a few things in thai. He just wanted me to open my bank app to see if everything worked out on my application. It was really less than 5 minutes. Don't sweat it (that's what I did) . I worry about worrying 😀

Partecipante anonimo 364 Hi can i ask you, which documents are required in dubai beside bank account, trade license and noc? thanks
my application had the following, professional portfolio, NOC, vision and mission of the company, establishment card, trade license, tenancy contract, invoices, Emirates ID front and back , residence card ( the red one ) , last entry stamp, hotel booking 1 month in BKK, round flight tickets to BKK , 6 months full bank statement from NBD bank ( online statement ok ) ,, i applied with all those documents , I'm not sure if all of these documents are required, but i did it because i don't want them to ask for additional documents

Where are you applying at, and generally no need for either.
I meant you apply online, but different embassies that process the application deal with each application differently, and requirements vary per country you're applying from.
