hello - on the 500k bank statements requirement for 3 months, would anyone be able to provide more detail?

Do you have to evidence having that amount the whole time throughout the month? Let's say for instance if you started the month with that amount of money, spent some, lent them to a family member, and then ended the month with the 500 K balance.

Or do they need to see 500 K consistently in the account all month

TLDR : Answer Summary
To meet the 500k bank balance requirement for a Thai visa, the current balance must be at least 500k baht at the end of each month for three months. It is not strictly required to maintain this amount throughout the month; as long as you end each month with a balance of 500k, that should typically suffice. Some embassies, like the UK, are less strict, allowing for fluctuations in balance as long as the final balance is 500k baht.

The 500k every month for 3 months requirement is for the end of each month to be 500k. Not many embassies are that strict. A current balance of 500k is fine along with 3-6 months of statements.

where are you applying first, from my knowledge UK embassy only requires 500k baht as current balance, so you can have any balance between 0-500k baht during the 3-6 months beforehand but your current balance has to be 500k (last balance on the bank statement)
