Hi guys, I am having a job ( not teaching related) and apply for Non Immigration B Visa, single entry and gonna extend to one year after that. Do I need to add University degree in the application? If yes, does it need to be in English/ Thai, notarised/ legalised or just need University stamp on it?
Do I need to buy 1-way ticket or 2-way ticket flight?
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Non-Immigrant B Visa in Thailand, it's advisable to check directly with your employer or the Thai consulate for specific documentation requirements, as they may vary. While some experiences suggest that a scanned copy of your University degree might be accepted, others indicate it may not be necessary for non-teaching roles. Regarding flights, it's essential to confirm if a one-way or round-trip ticket is required based on your situation.
As an 'owner', Shareholder and Director of my Thai Company I was told by the Visa Agent (my Accountant) that I had to provide a copy (simple scan & print) of my University Degree. I doubted this to be true that it was required. But I had the original - made a scan - then printed a copy. Signed it on the bottom and it was included in my WP, B Visa and one year Extension. It was easy and harmless and maybe beneficial - so I provided it.
your employer should tell you what documentation you're going to need to apply for the 90 day Non-B visa. Check the thai consulate's website you're going to apply at and see what their requirements are.
I don't believe a degree is necessary for non-teaching jobs.
