Do I need to provide my degree certificate for a non-immigrant type B visa application in Singapore?

Hi all. I'm traveling to Singapore in the next couple of weeks to get a non-immigrant type B visa. Any idea if they are still requiring evidence of qualifications (ie a degree certificate)? I graduated so long ago that I have no idea where mine is 😁. Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry is about whether a degree certificate is required for applying for a non-immigrant type B visa in Singapore. Responses indicate that the application process can be completed online without needing to travel first. It is suggested to gather all supporting documents from the current employer. Some users mention that others they know did not need to present their degree for similar visa applications, so it may not be strictly necessary, especially if the employer provides comprehensive documentation.

Singapore is a good one to apply at because it's all done online BEFORE you even have to go there. That way you don't fly down, turn in your documentation and have it come up short. Turn in your stuff, get your approval and THEN fly down to get the visa stamped into your passport.

singapore has NO walk up service. You apply for ALL the visas online before you go there.

Hey
@Tod ********
is this the case with any visa one would be applying for? Or just for the non-immigrant-B. We are thinking of doing a visa run to Singapore to apply for a 60-day tourist but hear it's super strict there. Is applying online still an opiton. Thank you!

they'll email you and tell you if you're missing anything before they give the confirmation to get the visa

Saves a wasted trip for sure. Called my old university last night - takes 8-10 weeks to issue a duplicate degree certificate - not very helpful 😁

Getting evidence of employment from my last job could be fun as well 😎. Think I'll just leave all this for the new company to work out for me!

Cheers Robert. I'd checked the list but wasn't sure if it was still up to date. Locating my degree certificate could be tricky.....

Any chance for your current company to produce sponsor letter and appointment letter?

What Robert Lagas just posted below for online application is good. You should apply online and wait for their reply. What I gather from couple of friends here, they got their non b w/o showing their degree from SG. But current company documents must be completely thorough.

Yeah they can provide all the supporting documentation - that's no problem. Just wasn't sure if they would also need to see my degree as part of the submission process.
