Hi everyone. I have a visa question. I have a work permit coming mid January next year, so will be applying for the Non B visa. Do I need to buy a return flight ticket? My wife and kids are naturally coming with, but will probably just apply for a tourist visa in the meantime. So they would definitely have to buy return flight tickets. Have I got this right? Any assistance would be appreciated

What kind of visa do I need if my wife is Thai, to live in Thailand ( retired) for 6 months at a time, on property she owns ?

A non immigrant visa shouldn't need proof of leaving Thailand. Most tourist visa applications will require a ticket into Thailand and a ticket out of Thailand. It doesn't have to be a return ticket, just a ticket out of Thailand.

Many thanks for the info. So basically I can buy a single ticket and my wife and kids, but they sort of need to show a ticket out of the country a month later?

depends on how they enter. With a tourist visa it's 60 days. Visa exempt is 30 days.
