TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the validity of their visa when flying to Thailand, explaining that their visa has to be used by August 18 and asking if arriving on that date would be acceptable. Several comments clarified that as long as the user arrives and is processed through passport control by 11:59 PM on August 18, the visa would still be valid. However, the discussion also touched on the user's Algerian passport status, which does not qualify for visa exemption and was confirmed to be relevant to their current visa situation.

Without this you get 60 days visa now anyway

Most of the passports ,, I’m assuming your french or 90 countries eligible for this

Should be ok as long as you get stamped that day.

that's irrelevant, as the OP has already applied for and been granted a Visa

I've just noticed, well according to his Facebook page anyway, he is from Algeria, if that's correct, Algeria isn't on the list, so I'm sure he is very happy that the tourist visa will still be valid, so all is good.

I simply asked if he was from one of the 93 countries that now has the 60 day visa exempt, I don't know his passport nationality, if so that would make his tourist visa "irrelevant" but anyway it seems he has got the answer to his question, so it's all good.

it's not irrelevant that the OP has paid for and was granted a Tourist Visa already. He probably knows by now that if he's on the list of 93 countries, he can visit Visa Exempt next time 👍🙂

@Colin ********
is it "irrelevant" that he has got 60 day tourist visa, "IF" he is from a visa exempt country, which in my first comment I didn't have knowledge of passport nationality, because the visa exempt is now 60 days, consulates and embassies are no longer issuing single entry 60 day tourist visas, to visa exempt countries, so that speaks for itself, I would agree that he has checked by now his eligibility, but when I first commented maybe he wasn't aware, that's the whole point of these groups to share knowledge and information, but anyway I understand your point, I'm not here for an argument, this conversation is pointless now, let's just agree to disagree and move on.

Thailand recently gave 60 days visa exempt travel to Thailand, have you checked if you're from one of the 93 countries on the list??

This is for an Algeria (DZA) Passport, so is not eligible for visa exempt and also not eligible for 30 Days Visa on Arrival
Marcus **********
This is now completely irrelevant because you get 60 days on entry anyway now.

the poster is from Algeria. Do you know if they get visa exempt status?

Not everybody, I mean, one could assume the OP is a non French person living in France, and that's why he had to get a tourism visa.

If you arrive in Thailand at 00:00 am is already on 18th August
