Hi im travelling trough bkk airport on the way to Europe normally I purchase my visa which is compulsory for me but this time im only transferring to another flight unfortunately I have to go trough immigration so the question is would I have to do a dtac form to transit im not leaving the airport

You are not in transfer if you have to go through immigration and you require a visa to enter Thailand then you need a visa. What passport do you hold?

If you go through passport control at immigration at the arrival airport, you need to have a proper visa and a TDAC submission.
There is a check box to indicate whether you just transferred on the second page of the TDAC web system.
