TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry discusses potential flight routes for entering and exiting Thailand on a visa-exempt basis, along with concerns about being required to show 20,000 Baht upon arrival. Community responses highlight that the number of previous back-to-back and tourist visas can influence the requirement for the cash amount.

Flying out doesnt matter, flying in and going through thai imm is the issue.

Kool .. I'm not too far from you Yasothon.... so I looking to maybe go Laos or Cambodia then fly to Chiangmai?

Yes but the problem is that all airport around Isan are expensive and-or will layover in BKK before going to Isan. The only airport North that is not expensive is Chiang Mai because it is direct flight. I am near Khon Kaen.

we located in Bangkok, but many people call and tell their experience or ask advise. I just indicate what we know and heard.

Btw, you are an agent I recognize your name. You only go to Laos or you also go to Malaysia. And are you only located in BKK or you have van North Thailand. Thx you.

Amornrat Mattioli Your comment about Krabi is it based on personal experience. It is the first time I heard an issue with Krabi, if it is really recent I need to know.

I can not help with that, sorry.

I know about Phuket, but never heard of an issue in Krabi. I am trying to find the cheapest way in. Surat Thani is also cheap.

Phuket and Krabi are no good airport as well.

The issue seem to only be in Bangkok flying in, other airport its more anecdotal, but things change fast. I am thinking of doing a 30 days visa exempt instead of tourist visa and going from Kuala Lumpur to Krabi, 720 baht flight, so cheap.

Thanks buddy I had issues getting a visa in savannaket.. I have since heard its nightmare

if you have a history of visa avoid fly OUT/IN. You can go Penang by flight and come back by land. Of go KL and fly in via CM where Immigration might not be as strict.
