I got a STV and I wanna move my flight to be early (28 Feb) than my ticket (11 Mar and return 9 June: this covers 90 days) . Do I need to move the return flight ticket to cover 90 days? But I am planning to get the extend visa. Will immigration ask me to show the return flight? Thank you for your help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about moving their flight date earlier while holding a Short Term Visa (STV) in Thailand, specifically if they need to adjust their return flight to comply with the 90-day stay requirement. Comments indicate that while immigration may ask for a return ticket, it seems not strictly enforced for STV holders, especially since the visa allows for extensions up to 270 days. It is suggested that purchasing a low-cost onward ticket could be a workaround if necessary.

they shouldn't ask for return flight. since you are allowed to stay for 270 days (with extensions) I came on a TR visa and they didn't ask for my return flight. if they do want an exit ticket you could book on onward ticket for like $10.00. You'll need to update your COE and accommodation booking after quarantine (and ASQ) for the new arrival date and flights.

I dont think you need to show a return ticket for an STV as it can be extended up to 270 days

I can't tell you if immigration will ask to see your exit flight ... but they MIGHT. If you're worried, maybe buy a dirt cheap flight to a neighbouring country and either lose it, or get a refund/voucher after you're in ASQ.
