Do I need to apply for a multiple-entry permit with a full-year Non-Immigrant O visa based on marriage in Thailand?

Hello everybody. I am about to recieve full year Non immigrant visa O based on marriage. At the very beginning I had to apply only for single entry and three months. After requesting full year at the office here in Thailand it seems that I will get it, but so far there has not been mention from anyone about multiply entries. Does that mean that when I get full year I will have to apply for mulitply reentry permit as well to make sure me and my wife can travel throughou the year ?
