I'm a bit confused.

Some of the statements contradict each other.  

I've already been to Thailand twice this year, for a total of 89 days in this calendar year.  

My agency said I would need to apply for a Non-Immigrant O Visa for my July holiday (45 days), as I was also in Thailand last September and would exceed the allowed 150 days.  

The Thai embassy says I could enter Thailand in July without a visa, but the final decision would be made by immigration at the airport.  

I've now applied for a 60-day tourist visa for July.  

How many times can I apply for this visa within a calendar year?
