Same here applied from Thai Embassy KL. Got exempted visa fees as well. Almost similar timeline.

it seems that KL has their processing time back down to just a few working days (but it might just be because you're a Malay they have faster processing because usually that is a SLOW consulate)

Remember to print your PDF eVisa because that is your actual visa
