TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a Thailand tourist visa, you need to provide a copy of your own passport, sometimes including a passport picture, rather than the inviter's passport. Additionally, proof of residency can be established through documents such as a rental contract or an ID card. A simple letter of invitation from the person inviting you, ideally in Thai, may also be advisable. There is no strict validity period for when you need to travel after your visa approval, but promptness is recommended.

9) how did you posted all the passport pages in one ?
JF *******
ID card is simpler, which every Thai must have.

A simple letter of invitation, preferably in Thai, did the trick for me.
