Hi all! When it comes to a background check from the USA for a non-b visa:
1. Do I need to have it apostilled in the US before it is sent to Thailand? Or can I just have it stamped at the embassy in BKK or KL?
2. If I don't need the apostille can I just use the email version of the background check or do I need the physical copy?
I'm getting conflicting/no information so if anyone has done this recently I'd appreciate your input! TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the requirements for a background check from the USA for a Thai non-B visa. They specifically inquire whether the background check needs to be apostilled in the US before being sent to Thailand, or if it can be stamped at the embassy in Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur. Additionally, they question if an email version of the background check is acceptable or if a physical copy is necessary.
