TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a Thai DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) from the Philippines, you do need to show proof of funds, which should be equivalent to 500,000 THB (approximately $17,000 USD). This amount must be maintained in your bank account for at least three months, and a Filipino bank account is acceptable for this purpose.
