TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for the DT visa in the UK, the funds should be in cash and located in bank accounts. The main applicant cannot use bonds, investments, or cryptocurrencies to meet the financial requirements. Although the Thai Embassy in the UK may be more lenient regarding how long the money has been in the account, it is recommended to keep it in the bank for at least three months and provide three months' worth of bank statements as proof.

It has to be cash in Bank. They don’t accept, bonds, investments or bitcoin.

Thai Embassy in the UK appear to be a bit more relaxed about how long the fund has been in the proposed account. 1 month appears to be acceptable, but yo be safe, 3 months in the account with 3 months bank statements to prove it

Bonds and investments won't work. Funds need to be in bank accounts and immediately accessible. BTW you'll be applying as a dependant not a sponsor
