Do financial requirements for the DTV visa get checked after approval?

Hello, can anyone share if the financial requirement of DTV is checked or maintained for a specific time after the approval of the visa? Like do they still check it, for example, every 90-day reporting or every exit/re-entry?

I understand that it is upon renewal, but for the other cases, I am curious if it is? TIA :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The financial requirement for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand is only checked during initial application and renewal processes. It is not routinely monitored during the length of the visa, such as during 90-day reporting or exit/re-entry procedures. However, if you apply for a visa extension while in Thailand rather than doing a border run, you will need to demonstrate that you still meet the financial requirements. Immigration policies can change, so it's advisable to stay updated.

If you don’t really have the money just don’t apply that visa

If you can’t maintain the amount for the duration of the 5 years why do you really want the visa

At anytime the I/O’s can change and ask for everything all the time

The one thing to know about Thai immigration policy is that it changes without warning

As Pete said, if you do an extension instead of a border run, you have to prove you meet the requirements all over again.
