1) Do we have to keep 800k in the bank during the entire time of the visa validity or till we want to leave Thailand?
2) Do we every month have to transfer 65000tbh into that account and draw it all?
Thank you very much in advance and looking forward hearing from you...

TLDR : Answer Summary
This discussion addresses two main questions regarding the requirements for retaining a retirement visa in Thailand: 1) The need to keep 800,000 baht in a Thai bank account for the entire duration of the visa, and 2) Whether a monthly transfer of 65,000 baht is necessary. Responses clarify that the 800,000 baht must remain in the account for specific periods and cannot fall below 400,000 baht after meeting certain conditions. For visa holders using the income method, the 65,000 baht must be transferred monthly for the past year prior to the extension application, but funds can be utilized thereafter.

if you TRANSFER from overseas into a thai bank account in your name only a minimum of 65K baht a month, each month, every month for the previous 12 months before you apply for your next extension you CAN use monthly income method for the proof of funds

It MUST be kept in the Thai Bank account in your name only for the ENTIRE YEAR. Using the requirements as described by Tod Daniels in his earlier reply.
In other words... don't take it out of your Thai bank account whenever you decide to leave Thailand.
The permission to stay stamp in your passport is for ONE FULL YEAR.
I think you mean the 800K baht for banked money method.. That has to be in the account for 2 months before you apply for an extension, then you keep it in the account for 3 months after the extension is granted and after that you can't let the balance go below 400K baht the rest of the year
If you're using banked money method you don't need to transfer ANY money in every month. BUT if you're going to use the monthly income method you need to transfer in 65K baht a month, each month, every month, for the previous 12 months before you apply for an extension. You can do what ever you want with the money once you transfer it in (there is no requirement you spend it and nothing that says you can't spend it either)
