Can a Canadian citizen re-enter Thailand on a tourist visa after a previous stay in the same calendar year?

ORIGINAL POSTERI am a Canadian citizen who entered Thailand July 15 last year on a tourist visa. I should have no problem entering Thailand July 1rst or 2nd this year on another tourist visa correct ? I believe I should be fine but I have seen some people talk about a year and a calendar year being different in some cases

So to understand, you entered Thailand last year, on July 15, and left last year, on August 3rd (about 18 days, I think). I'm assuming you came here on a vacation. You now want to return to Thailand and be here on July 2 and leave on August 1 (or thereabouts).
If that's the situation, you'll be fine. You are allowed 2 ground based 30 day visa exempt a calendar year, and "unlimited" by air. It is the immigration officer decision to decide if you should enter or not.
Given your history, I say your completely fine and have nothing to worry about. Enjoy your vacation!
