I completed my DTV application on March 20 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
On March 24, I received a request for additional documents (they asked me to highlight the salary transactions in my bank statement), and I submitted it the same day.
Today, my application status has changed to this β does this mean it has been approved?
I havenβt received any email yet.
Does it usually take some time for the approval email to arrive after the status changes?
Thanks in advance!

Multiple community replies confirmed that the status change typically indicates approval, with suggestions to check email folders for notifications. Many users shared their experiences, affirming that the email usually arrives shortly after the status changes, while others offered tips on what to do upon receiving the visa.
Congrats! Curious - what nationality and what DTV route did you take (Workcation or Soft Power)? I also put mine in on the 20th in Hanoi and provided additional documents on the 21st, but mine is still pending...
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight βοΈ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
