I’m not sure if this has been asked before. I’m on a Retirement Visa but work outside of Thailand, can I transfer onto an LTR Visa as I meet the criteria for that?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of transferring from a Retirement Visa to an LTR Visa in Thailand, as they meet the criteria for the LTR Visa. According to comments, it is possible to transfer if criteria are met, but income for the LTR Visa must be passive and not earned from work outside of Thailand. Another commenter suggests considering a multiple-entry visa for flexibility.

If you meet the criteria yes, but I think it has to be passive income for the LTR based on retirement & earned income doesn't count.
