How did you obtain your DTV visa through Arun Thai Cooking and what was your experience?

Just got my DTV 😃, I did it with Arun Thai Cooking together with Issa Compass the agency they work together.
After 6 senseless weeks trying it in my home country, Austria, where they ask nearly every day for more documents and even when Arun Thai Cooking added another 6 month program, they still hadn’t enough.
So Arun Thai Cooking gave me the advice to go to Laos and try it there. What should I say, after 10 days spending a nice holiday in Vientiane, I got my DTV.
I can definitely recommend Arun Thai Cooking.

That is one visa that I hope goes away soon. It's been abused and no you can live here all 5 years, not to mention, good luck with banking. Also make sure you review the work permit criteria, violate that and it's done. Too many on it are working in jobs specifically for Thais.

The most abused visa how many of the people on DTV are actually working illegally a fair percentage i would imagine.
Every dive instructor and hostel worker i know is on a DTV

Wherever you are located? Thailand is a big place and much bigger and more diverse that your miserably limited experience.
Lots of people on the DTV are working legitimate jobs online, just not Thai jobs.
That is partly what the visa was designed for.
The other part is Soft Power and it is approved by the Thai government.
Honestly you need to be less critical.

I was happy to have an agency as the Thai embassy in Austria handled it extremely complicated and it would have taken me too much time and nerves to prepare for them.For other countries you may be right.

Crazy system you can get 5 years to learn how to make pad thai, I've raised and adopted a thai daughter and now a grandson and get put through immigration ringer every 12 months

Paul Jarvis ame here 3 kids married 20 years and ran a business paid tax.
I Had a stroke ,could work eventually ran out of money and had to leave my family , home of 27 years and dog ,still partially paralysed and go back to the uk .
Once the money runs out or your unwell there is no help.
Family visas need to be reevaluated.

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.
That's what you should do... print it out.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

ArticulateNectarine8453 Depends. They asked me to show flight and hotel bookings, and it took about two weeks. Workcation. You also have to be a resident in Hungary or another neighbouring country that falls under their jurisdiction, and you have to show proof of residency.
