TLDR : Answer Summary
A friend plans to visit Thailand for 75 days without a valid visa. While she may face a slim chance of being questioned at check-in, especially regarding proof of onward travel, if she holds a passport from one of the 93 countries eligible for a visa-exempt entry, she will receive a 60-day stamp upon arrival. Furthermore, she can extend her stay by applying for a 30-day extension at a local immigration office, making total allowable days potentially 90. Thus, the primary concern is checking with the airline for confirmation regarding her travel plans.

If your friend is a passport holder of one off the 93 countries that are allowed visa exempt entry, she will get a 60 day visa exempt stamp which is free then during this time she can apply for a 30 day extension at her local immigration office which will cost her 1,900 baht, giving her a total of 90 days inside of Thailand.
Highly unlikely immigration at the airport will question her, if anything the airline she is using might question her upon check in.

As lloyd said she runs much more of a chance to be questioned by her airline when she checks in if she's flying here free stamp entry with onward travel out past the days she'll get when she stamps in
CHECK with the air carrier, if they say it's okay, she'll be fine once they get here

if she's from one of the 90+ countries that get in free on a 60 day stamp and can get a 30 day extension after she's here I'd say it's highly unlikely she'd get questioned at passport control
