Can I work remotely on a Tourist Visa in Thailand without affecting my DTV application?

TL;DR: Can working remotely while on a Tourist Visa lead to a DTV denial?

I spent the last 2 months in Thailand on a Tourist Visa and worked remotely during that time. Now I'm in Manila and ready to apply for the DTV.

I have all the documents (Employer letter, 500k THB balance), but I'm worried about the payslips. My payslips show the total monthly hours worked (but not a daily breakdown). I’m concerned the embassy will cross-reference the working hours and realize some of it has been in Thailand on a tourist visa.

Has anyone faced this? Should I apply now, or wait a few months so those specific dates aren't on my recent payslips?

Thanks in Advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The concern revolves around whether working remotely while on a Tourist Visa in Thailand could lead to complications when applying for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV). Several comments indicate that applicants have previously shared invoices or work documentation from their time in Thailand without facing issues or denials. It appears that as long as the application is filled out honestly and properly, previous remote work during a tourist visit may not impact the DTV application negatively.

They will not care unless they find a different reason to deny your application.

Everyone works on their computer. "No working in Thailand" means getting a job here and selling pad Thai on the street.

Yes. You're no supposed to do. They might probably know it. But if you say you were freelancing all 2025 and spent most of 2025 in thailand...

Not at all. While applying for DTV workcation i submitted invoices (for my US based clients) that were made while I was visiting Thailand on visa exemption. No questions asked.
