Just to clarify that if I change my medical visa to retirement visa, I got the 3 months first. And after it, I could get 12 months for retirement visa. During that 3 months transition, can I go back to my country OR travel to another country, applying the re-entry permit beforehand and come back? Thanks in advance admins ๐๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is transitioning from a medical visa to a retirement visa and inquires about the ability to travel during the initial 3-month period before receiving the 12-month retirement visa. The comments clarify that as long as you obtain a re-entry permit before leaving Thailand, you can exit and re-enter during this transitional period, but must return before the 90-day Non-O visa expires to apply for the year extension.

You would need to get BACK into thailand before that 90 day Non-O expired so you would still have time to apply for the year extension, but you can exit/re-enter IF you buy a re-entry permit.
