For those who applied for the DTV visa from Vietnam —

did anyone apply in HCMC and then travel to another city (Da Nang / Hanoi / etc.) while waiting?

Was it okay, or did they ask for new proof of location?

Yes, if you did visit the e-visa website you did see that you have to fill in your current location and you did see that you need proof of that location.

At the end you sign that you did tell the truth and agree that the visa can be denied.
