TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the possibility of switching from a Thai language education visa to a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV). It is widely suggested that applicants must leave Thailand to apply for a DTV, as applications cannot be processed while in the country. Those looking to apply should cancel their existing visa, leave Thailand (typically to a neighboring country like Laos), and then apply for the DTV from there. Additionally, there are concerns regarding the complexity of the application and potential issues related to an applicant's past visa history.

I went through the same thing as you, but got rejected. I'll try applying for an ED visa again later.I personally suggest you get an agent to help you apply

Chinese people are the main target of Thai customs, especially since I have an ED visa on my passport. Even if I'm not a criminal, I still have to pay the "pass-through fee" just like criminals do every time. This is a matter for the national government and the people - individuals can't change it

what pass thru fee are you talking about? Safe Entry fee?

How many months of Muay Thai training did you submit to the Hanoi Thai Embassy?

Where was the Muay Thai training gym located?

Where are you living in Thailand? Pattaya

You have to cancel your ED visa. Even if it has expired.

Then leave the country ie go to Laos. And you can apply for DTV from there.

sorry I don’t understand.

I’m aware the Dtv is for digital nomads and there are ‘soft options’ that take the route of Muay Thai or cooking classes. You leave the country every 6 months and re enter. You have to give proof of 500k in bank statements stable usually for 3 months. Is there anything I’m missing? Please share
