Can I still use my O-A visa for re-entry after missing the health insurance renewal deadline?

I think I may have screwed up my chance to use my O-A for re-entry. If anyone can confirm please?

O-A Multi-Entry Granted 30-3-2022.

I entered Thailand on 16-5-2022.

Until date of the stamp in my passport is as per my health Insurance renewal date on 15-5-2023.

Am I now stuck for getting my two years with out of my O-A by doing a border bounce?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the use of their O-A visa for re-entry after their health insurance renewal date caused confusion about their eligibility to stay for an additional year. Responses indicated that the O-A visa is no longer valid for multiple entries and that the user has missed the opportunity for a second free year. To renew his stay, he must either return to his home country to apply for a new OA visa or look into other options for extending his stay.

He can extend himself. Doesn't need an agent. What he's talking about is the second "free" year you get with the OA. He's missed the boat. No agent can fix that

There's no one can help him with the OA visa. He missed the cut out for the free second year. The visa is done. He has to start from scratch

an agent can extend for him

The visa is done so no more entries on it. You won't get the free second year now. If you don't want to put the 800k in the bank you'll have to go back to your home country and start again

Get insurance and bounce and re-enter on or before 15-May to get another 12 months

Nope, the visa expires on 29th March 2023.

@Graham *****
I think I have missed my opportunity as the border bounce should have happened before the visa expired not the entry stamp.

Yes, ok, granted 30-Mar and valid for 12 months, you're right

You can only use the visa for multiple entries by the end date on the visa itself. It doesn't matter when you first entered Thailand.

If your visa was granted in March of 2022, then it should have expired by now and you can no longer use it to enter Thailand. If you want to try again you'll need to return to your home country and apply for a new OA visa.

but I can still extend right? My passport stamp is still valid.

@Robert *******
you can but extending an OA is a bad option because you're required to have the same high insurance despite not needing any insurance at all if you got a regular non-O and extended it.

I don’t mind the health Insurance that’s easy to get but the 2 months 800k is out of the question now given the time frame.

looks like you have a border bounce or visa run in your future 😅
