Hi, I just want to check - I am a UK citizen here in Chiang Mai on a multi entry tourist visa. My 60 days runs out on 4th May. If I am correct then am I right in saying I do not need to go to immigration, or do anything, no need to extend or get any extension stamps and I can automatically stay here until July 31st? Thanks in advance :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK citizen in Chiang Mai on a multi-entry tourist visa does not need to visit immigration and can stay until July 31st due to an amnesty plan, provided the borders remain closed.
You are qualified for the amnesty plan and you don't need to go to the immigration office and you will be allowed to stay NO LONGER than July 31.
Now that does not mean you have a "free pass to kick it for 3 months", it means IF they can't get the borders open sooner you will be allowed to stay that long.
You need to watch the news about the borders opening and what people on amnesty need to do once that happens.
If I was a betting man I'd say once they get the borders open they're gonna run the people on amnesty outta the country pretty fast :O
