Hi everyone! I’m applying for a DTV (Soft Power - Cooking Class) in the Philippines this week.

I’m a bit nervous about the financial requirement since I only have around 550,000–600,000 THB in my savings account. The funds have been sitting there for over 4 months, and I can show regular monthly income, but I've seen suggestions online that a larger balance helps.

500k is the minimum required. You do have to be in the country you hold residence in when you apply.

Also look at what the embassy your applying to requires in the UK for example they require £12,000 which is actually 530,000 baht at todays exchange rate.
