Can I return to Thailand the same day after a border run to get my DTV stamp?

Hello everyone.

My DTV was approved (Ho Chi Minh). It took a week longer than anticipated and I came back to Thailand early (entered with a tourist visa).

I'm planning a trip to KL next week to get the DTV stamp. I've been there many times, so I was thinking of returning the same day. Would Thai immigration have any problems with it?

I know those border runs were more of an issue when entering back into Thailand with a tourist visa. Would it be fine to do a 3-4 hour trip, but entering with DTV this time?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is considering a same-day trip to Kuala Lumpur to get a DTV stamp after having entered Thailand on a tourist visa. They are concerned about potential issues with Thai immigration upon re-entry, especially since border runs have been problematic in the past with tourist visas. Community comments suggest that as long as the DTV approval PDF is presented upon re-entry, there should not be any problems.

Shouldn't be a problem, print out your approval PDF and hand it to the officer with your passport upon arrival. No need to hurry to KL as your current stamp is good for 60 days.
