Hello hoping for some help. I am a US citizen currently on an education visa valid until May 26th. I am currently in America (visiting) with a return flight back to Thailand April 10th. I did file the proper paperwork before leaving Thailand so I can return. Under the new Thai Alert – U.S. Embassy Bangkok, Thailand - 26 MAR 2020 decree which states foreigners are banned from entering the Kingdom of Thailand at all points with the exception of diplomats, cargo shipments, pilots, and foreigners with a work permit will I be able to get back to Thailand w/ the proper paperwork, 100K health insurance + corona testing & T8. Been looking but can't seem to find anything if I am out of country trying to get back to Thailand w/valid ed visa. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. BTW currently on hold with Thai Embassy for a very long time :(

TLDR : Answer Summary
A US citizen is seeking assistance regarding returning to Thailand on an education visa amidst the travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They have filed the necessary paperwork and possess health insurance, but are unsure about the possibility of re-entry given the current restrictions which only allow entry for certain foreigners.
