Can I renew my Thai visa in Phuket if it was issued in Bangkok?
Hi!
we have an specific question on visa renewal and were redirected to this group:
Our company wants us to return to Bkk for 1 year visa renewal appointment in Chamburi square. We asked if it would be possible to renew here in Phuket but their answer was that the Visa could only be renewed in the Thai immigration office it was expedited initially.
how true is this? do you have any experience? or where could we look for information?

The company is correct.
IF you have an extension (especially from the One Stop Service Center at Cham Churi Square) you go back to the office where it was issued.
You have an extension based on support documentation from that company (it's obviously a BOI/IEAT or other company that uses the One Stop Center here in Bangkok) so you go where they say you need to go.

You need to renew at the Immigration Office that issued your visa. If it is Bangkok Immigration, then you need to go there.
