ORIGINAL POSTER
My retirement O visa expires on April 29, 2024. I will be traveling overseas during March 1st thru end of May of 2024 right in the midst of my original renewal period. Is it possible to renew it earlier than 30 days. What other options do I have. Or I have to start the whole O visa process again on my return. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is inquiring about the possibility of renewing their Retirement O visa that expires on April 29, 2024, while planning to travel overseas from March 1 to the end of May 2024. They are concerned about renewing their visa earlier than the standard 30-day period and are seeking alternatives to avoid starting the visa process over upon their return. Responses suggest that they should visit the immigration office in February, present their travel plans, and inquire about an early renewal, although this isn't guaranteed and may lead to needing to restart the visa process if denied.

We wish the O/P good luck in their endeavor. GO early, show them you're out of the country see what they say

There's not an office in the country that allows a renewal that early before an extension expires.. All you can do is GO to your immigration office in Feb, show them you'll be out of the country and see IF they'll let you apply at the end of Feb or not..

Worst case they say no and you start all over from zero when you come back. They CAN allow you to get your extension early if you prove you won't be here but they don't have to do it at all
